For a long time, it did not look like Kaia Schmid would create a future in cycling. She focused mainly on skiing. But as a teenager, cycling began to interest her more and more, and after she won an incredible silver medal at the 2021 world championships in Belgium (road race, juniors), it was clear that cycling was her calling. Kaia became a pro rider at a young age and also impressed in track cycling. On the Liv AlUla Jayco Women’s Continental Team, she wants to strengthen the foundation and have a long nad fruitful cycling career.
