Letizia Paternoster and Amber Pate are two highlights on a strong Liv AlUla Jayco squad for Paris-Roubaix Femmes this weekend.
The team is hoping to build on a strong classics campaign so far and is eyeing up a podium finish in the iconic Roubaix velodrome at the last major cobbled race of the spring.
Paternoster has been in flying form in recent weeks, scoring an impressive top 10 finish at the Tour of Flanders and a podium at Dwars door Vlaanderen last week. Pate is returning for her second taste of the cobbles of northern France after riding to 18th in her debut after finishing in the group of pre-race favourites.
Silke Smulders, Georgie Howe, and Jeanne Korevaar will be back in action after racing the Tour of Flanders at the weekend. Meanwhile, Teniel Campbell adds yet more power to the engine room of the squad.
After it was finally introduced to the women’s calendar in 2021, Paris-Roubaix Femmes has become a popular fixture each season. The riders will face 29.2km of cobblestones, spread across 17 sectors, including the most challenging five-star sections across Mons-en-Pévèle and the Carrefour de l’Arbre.

Amber Pate:
“I am very excited to come back to Paris-Roubaix for a second time. This is a really special race that is mixed with luck and grit. We have a strong team and I feel we can achieve something special here.”
Wim Stroetinga (Sport Director):
“Roubaix is brutal where you need to have the legs, and also a bit of luck. We go in with a really strong team where we can have a podium with different options and race situations. The main thing is entering the first cobble sections in a good position after that we will have to see how the race itself unfolds. We are ready to go for it as a team.”
