Ruby Roseman-Gannon:
“I’m excited for the last race of the season and I think we are bringing a super strong team. We have a lot of Dutch riders who have experience racing on these types of roads and in typical Netherlands conditions.
This year, the courses are a lot flatter than normal, but the race may open up if there are some crosswind days. The TT will set up the GC battle early and bonus seconds will be important.”
Wim Stroetinga (Sports Director):
“The first stage TT will set the GC, but with the race being hold in October now, the other stages could be more decisive than other years with potential echelons.
We want to ride together as a team, and we want to put the other teams under pressure. We are here with a really strong line-up, and we want to take advantage of it. Each rider could win a stage in a break, and we also have Letizia for the sprints.
The main thing at the end of the season is having motivation and the riders are motivated which is already a big advantage.”
