Following the announcement of three new arrivals, Liv AlUla Jayco’s Continental Team welcomes two more talented riders with Sophie Marr and Anabelle Thomas completing the roster for 2026.
Liv AlUla Jayco’s scouting team has been working overtime in recent months, carefully searching for talented riders with the potential to become top performers in international women’s cycling.
That preparatory work resulted in the signing of three riders last month: Alli Anderson, Talia Appleton, and Sidney Swierenga. Today, two more riders are joining them: 20-year-old Australian Sophie Marr and Canadian Anabelle Thomas, also 20, will wear the iconic jersey of Liv AlUla Jayco’s Continental Team in 2026 and 2027.
Marr performed remarkably well this season in various stage races, mainly in her native Australia. She dominated the Tour of Tasmania, winning two of the five stages, finishing second twice and third once. Her overall victory in the ProVelo Super League at the beginning of this year earned her a contract with the Continental Team.
Sophie Marr
“GreenEDGE as an Australian team, is one I’ve always looked up to growing up. When they launched the development team, it instantly became a goal of mine to reach that level. With the opportunity from ProVelo Super League and the contract offer, it was something I had my eyes on from the start. I feel super fortunate for this opportunity and grateful that they trusted me by offering a two-year deal. Seeing the growth and success the team has achieved in such a short time, joining them was a no brainer for me!
This step is huge for both my development and progression in the sport. The professionalism within the team makes me confident that I can grow into the athlete I know I can be. It’s the perfect steppingstone in my career towards achieving the ultimate goal of reaching the WorldTour.”

Anabelle Thomas may not be well known to the general public, but she has already made a mark for herself on several occasions. In the Czech stage races Gracia and Tour de Feminin, among others, she showed that she has a lot of potential. In the Tour of Norway Women, she also held her own among many WorldTeams.
Anabelle Thomas
“Liv AlUla Jayco provides one of the best development pathways for me to make the next step in the women’s peloton. Having a clear development plan and guidance from an experienced team is valuable as I navigate the increasingly competitive pro peloton. Beyond that, what really stood out to me was the atmosphere, from the way the team presents itself at races to the feeling I got in our first conversations. It is clear to me this is a team where I will be supported and challenged.”
