The escape group did not make it easy and held on out front until inside the final two kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a closely contested sprint after a hectic final few kilometres as teams jostled for position. Groenewegen pushed hard for the line in the sprint, and narrowly missed out on taking the top spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Dylan Groenewegen:<\/strong><\/span><br><em>\u201cIt was not an easy day with the rain, but the team did a really good job and we took our responsibility to fight for the sprint!
