After missing the classics opener last season, <strong>Kell O\u2019Brien<\/strong> will be back on the cobbles on Saturday alongside <strong>Campbell Stewart<\/strong>, with the duo starting their first European races of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New signings <strong>Bob Donaldson<\/strong> and <strong>Jelte Krijnsen<\/strong> will get their first taste of \u2018Opening Weekend\u2019, with the latter set to feature in both races alongside his countryman <strong>Elmar Reinders<\/strong> and fellow new recruit <strong>Jasha S\u00fctterlin<\/strong>. <strong>Anders Foldager<\/strong> heads to Belgium off the back of strong hit out in Spain at the Ruta Del Sol and will start Saturday\u2019s Omloop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>German powerhouse <strong>Max Walscheid<\/strong> will be looking to back up his strong UAE Tour performance in Sunday\u2019s event, with <strong>Jesse Kramer<\/strong> making the step up from the <strong>Hagens Berman Jayco<\/strong> development team to complete the squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Team Jayco AlUla at Opening Weekend:<\/u><\/strong><br>Bob Donadlson (GBR)*<br>Anders Foldager (DEN)*<br>Jesse Kramer (NED)**<br>Jelte Krijnsen (NED)<br>Kell O\u2019Brien (AUS)*<br>Elmar Reinders (NED)<br>Campbell Stewart (NZL)*<br>Jasha S\u00fctterlin (GER)<br>Max Walscheid (GER)**<br>(<em>*Omloop only, **KBK only)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Jasha S\u00fctterlin<br><\/span><em>\u201cI\u2019m feeling good, and I think I\u2019m ready just in time for the classics season after sickness between Valenciana and Ruta Del Sol when I couldn\u2019t train for one week. Towards the end of Ruta I was feeling great again and I\u2019m happy how everything went all winter and all the races I did so far! Now it\u2019s just few days until we start Opening Weekend!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I\u2019m not really nervous about it, I\u2019m just exited to do the cobbled classics again because I really missed it the last two years, so I\u2019m super exited. Most of all I&#8217;m already looking forward to Flanders and Roubaix, they are the Queen of classics. If everything goes right, we can go for a really great result there, but of course it would already be super nice having some top results starting this week at Opening Weekend.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Mat Hayman (Sports Director):<\/span><br><em>\u201c\u2018Opening Weekend\u2019, it&#8217;s in the name, it&#8217;s the first time back on the cobbles in Belgium and we\u2019re really looking forward to getting back up there with this group.
