Liv AlUla Jayco<\/strong> is thrilled to confirm the signing of talented Scottish rider Erin Boothman<\/strong> on a three-year deal. The 18-year-old is set to join Liv AlUla Jayco Women\u2019s Continental team as a stagiaire from August 1st<\/sup>, before stepping into the squad full time in 2026, and then transitioning into the WorldTeam for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After standout performances put her on the radar of Liv AlUla Jayco\u2019s performance and scouting team, which has been strongly committed to talent development in international women\u2019s cycling for the past years, Boothman will be the first rider to sign a long, three-year contract following the squad\u2019s development pathway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With youth on her side, the Scot will have the opportunity to use the first year with the Continental Team to develop her physical and tactical skills further, under the support and guidance of the performance staff, before making the jump up into the elite women\u2019s peloton in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an undoubted rising star within British Cycling, Boothman made her mark in 2024 when she won two gold medals at the UCI World Junior Championships in the Madison and team pursuit events, with Boothman and Great Britain setting a world record time in the latter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the young powerhouse has been impressing in road races having seized the victory in both the Cl\u00e1sica de Ja\u00e9n Nation\u2019s Cup Women in Spain and the iconic Gent-Wevelgem for juniors, thanks to her explosive sprint finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having already displayed her great ability in races, Liv AlUla Jayco is excited to see what Boothman can achieve with elite level support and guidance over the coming year, providing her with the same resources and equipment as the WorldTeam from day one, to ensure she is ready and prepared for her WorldTour debut in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team has a clear vision with its talent development in general and offers me opportunities to take a major step in my career. We discussed an ambitious, but at the same time realistic plan. First, I want to successfully integrate into the Continental Team and the elite category on the road. I then hope to become stronger on all fronts, step by step. I want to be successful together with the team and hope to get and take my own chances. The idea is that I will join the WorldTeam after this. That should be possible with the professional pathway and intensive mentoring the team offers. One day I hope to win a major classic, the very best, Paris-Roubaix. Winning on the historic velodrome is a girl\u2019s dream.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
