Today, two more riders are joining them: 20-year-old Australian Sophie Marr and Canadian Anabelle Thomas, also 20, will wear the iconic jersey of Liv AlUla Jayco\u2019s Continental Team in 2026 and 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marr performed remarkably well this season in various stage races, mainly in her native Australia. She dominated the Tour of Tasmania, winning two of the five stages, finishing second twice and third once. Her <a href=\"https:\/\/greenedgecycling.com\/2024\/marr-and-ward-secure-overall-provelo-super-league-titles-to-win-greenedge-cycling-contracts\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/greenedgecycling.com\/2024\/marr-and-ward-secure-overall-provelo-super-league-titles-to-win-greenedge-cycling-contracts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">overall victory in the ProVelo Super League<\/a> at the beginning of this year earned her a contract with the Continental Team.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><u>Sophie Marr<\/u><br><em>\u201cGreenEDGE as an Australian team, is one I\u2019ve always looked up to growing up. When they launched the development team, it instantly became a goal of mine to reach that level. With the opportunity from ProVelo Super League and the contract offer, it was something I had my eyes on from the start. I feel super fortunate for this opportunity and grateful that they trusted me by offering a two-year deal. Seeing the growth and success the team has achieved in such a short time, joining them was a no brainer for me!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This step is huge for both my development and progression in the sport. The professionalism within the team makes me confident that I can grow into the athlete I know I can be. In the Czech stage races Gracia and Tour de Feminin, among others, she showed that she has a lot of potential. In the Tour of Norway Women, she also held her own among many WorldTeams.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><u>Anabelle Thomas<\/u><br><em>\u201cLiv AlUla Jayco provides one of the best development pathways for me to make the next step in the women\u2019s peloton. Having a clear development plan and guidance from an experienced team is valuable as I navigate the increasingly competitive pro peloton. Beyond that, what really stood out to me was the atmosphere, from the way the team presents itself at races to the feeling I got in our first conversations.
