After a few days in Spain, I feel good and hope to do well this year like I did last year at the race, and why not, maybe even better. This year the queen stage is the last day, so we will see what happens the days before. I’m confident in my team so we’ll go with the right motivation. The climb really suits on me, if I will have good feelings that day, I hope to get a good result for the team and myself. For sure, compared to last year, I know what’s coming.”

Wim Stroetinga – Sport Director
“After a strong start in Australia, we are ready for the UAE Tour. We have a strong team lining up, and the European riders have had a good training camp with the team in Spain. We are here with riders who know very well how to ride in crosswinds, and hopefully that will help us achieve good results. Georgia had an unfortunate start at the TDU with a crash, but we have full confidence that she can compete for the victory in the first three stages. The team will also do everything they can to make sure Monica is well placed in the GC after the first three stages, so she can go for the stage win on the final day, which would automatically put her in contention for the overall as well.”

2026 UAE Tour Women details:
Thursday, 5th February: Stage 1 – 111km
Friday, 6th February: Stage 2 – 145km
Saturday, 7th February: Stage 3 – 121km
Sunday, 8th February: Stage 4 – 156km

Liv AlUla Jayco head to the UAE Tour Women this week with a two pronged approach to tackle the Middle Eastern Women’s WorldTour race, with a mixed team led…

[296,386
