New Zealand road race champion Ella Wyllie moves into the white jersey at the Vuelta a Burgos Feminas on the penultimate stage.
The 21-year-old displayed her strength last week at the UCI Women´s WorldTour event Itzulia, where she claimed her first Youth Classification jersey of the season.
The Liv AlUla Jayco rider now sits 10th in the General Classification and is on equal time in the Youth Classification with Shirin Van Anrooij (Lidl-Trek) and Maud Oudeman (Team Visma|Lease a Bike) going into the final stage.
Ella Wyllie:
“It was a big sprinters day today and a pretty chaotic final. I think we can take confidence going into the last stage and I´m really excited because there are some climbs. I´m also really proud of Alex today (5th) as she did a great job and I think we´re going really well as a team.¨
